SWEET THUNDER - our innovative Dolby Atmos mix room

Our years of experience in some of the finest studios has been a springboard of discovery. We are now charged to find new ways of working that are efficient and fulfilling.
As mix specialists it became essential to create our own bespoke room so that we can offer more flexibility with today’s ever-changing requirements. We poured our imagination into the technical and aesthetic design and finally emerged with a quietly powerful facility which is inspired by a love of minimalism. While our 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos room is capable of outputting some of the world’s most complex score mixes and thunderous stereos, the warm and modest space of Sweet Thunder reflects our interests in artisanal craftsmanship and functional industrial design.

The principles of mixing music are long established and the techniques we use have been around for decades, but today’s methodology has changed beyond belief. We were determined to create a working environment where task oriented processes require little thinking. Our ambition was to make Sweet Thunder a beautiful listening room in order for us to concentrate on just that. How the room flows and breathes is less cosmic and more sensible  -  and we reap the benefits. Armed with a positive insight and willingness to think out of the box, we have afforded Sweet Thunder with the finest equipment possible, which in return helps us to give our creative best.

We have worked with some of the industry’s finest designers and commissioned some exclusive and exquisite gear.

We combine the warmth of analogue and grungy vintage toys with the ultimate high definition pristine digital systems.

A dedicated mix room that is permanently set up just for us, buys us more time for what we love doing - mixing music. 

The spacious separate lounge is bright and airy and provides an invaluable space to take meetings, work offline or sometimes even rest.

Sweet Thunder is comfortable and understated but underlying this modest, tranquil exterior is one of the most technically powerful mix facilities we have ever worked in.
